about us.
Fightonline.org is the home of the Long Forgotten Soldiers, a gaming clan which first originated in a game called Planetside in 2003, since then we have grown greatly and expanded into new games namely Age of Conan, Star Wars Galaxies & Jumpgate Evolution.

The Long Forgotten Soldiers aim is to provide an enjoyable open community to players within the games we play, we are a very teamwork based group although we do not take ourselves very seriously. The Long Forgotten Soldiers were always held in high regard within the game of Planetside as we were legendary for our team based events across the server Werner, we always provided an alternative to elitist outfits who concentrated souly on statistics which blurred the overall picture of friendships and entertainment.

Our previous website www.lfswerner.com was dated and we could no longer provide new content as Huntmaster, the owner, could not be traced; bring in Dave and fightonline was born, originally just a forum focused mainly on the game Planetside. Now fightonline is a bustling community boasting over four hundred members from all over Europe. Our current website is updated regularly as we find new features worth including, all work is normally carried out by KillerCrossfire.

We are always looking to expand fightonline and the Long Forgotten Soldiers and frequently try out new games as a clan, we ask that all new members join in on our forum and activities to get themselves known within the community.

In 2003 the Long forgotten Soldiers was created as an outfit in the game Planetside, spawned from the outfit "Forgotten Soldiers" of Emerald. Although we were setup by a bigger outfit we developed our own ideas and amassed over three hundred members, in 2007 we hit one million outfit kills and over seven million outfit points.

Fightonline is also the home to the Clowns outfit, we joined forces during outfit wars of 2006 and have kept a close friendship ever since, the Clowns were an independent outfit up until after outfit wars where they became a sort of sister outfit to LFS, which enabled each outfit to benefit off of each other's resources and strengths to enhance our overall game play.

Unfortunately due to recent in-game changes and just the age of Planetside numbers are dwindling and as a result Werner (the server) is no longer as vibrant as it used to be, so while a few members have moved across to Gemini (the other server) others have left the game completely.

Having Started in Age of Conan during Early Access and being lead for the first couple of months with the guilds creator Phebie and the building of our guild city in the lachiesh Plains of Cimmeria. We progressed rapidly through the world of hyboria.

The guild lead passed from Phebie to Clarkrana for a short period before coming to rest with Blynd. We are one of the most recognized and respected guilds on the server for both our ability in pvp and our sense of humor. The Guild has grown from the 12 original members to over 160 characters we have a full tier 2 city with a tier 3 keep and are looking forward to completing that task in the coming months. We raid every week on a Saturday night as many in the guild have family commitments and work.

Recruitment is always open for any level and any class.

The History of LFS in Hyboria – by Raukettgyrl

...and into that age of legends, came a band of Long Forgotten Soldiers. Warriors of the Auraxium who claimed fealty to the lost Sovereignty of Vanus the Purple. Their Gods were strange and they called upon the powers of Ancient Yago, and Pluto - the one who would not come. None know where they came from, but it is said that they fell from the sky riding upon the tail of a falling star - with eldritch battlecries that chilled the marrow of any who heard them.

The tales of their exploits are scattered throughout ancient texts and sacred tomes of knowledge which only the most learned of sages may decipher. Accounts vary as to their number - some say they were host of champions, many legions strong - while others tell of a handful of soldiers who fought with such might and ferocity that they were the equal to the armies of the great nations of Hyboria.

They were...

The Shaman Phebie, also known as the Returned one, who was Chief amongst them in their infancy and who wandered in strange realms for many an age before returning triumphant, and filled with arcane knowledge to lead them into battle once more.

- Blynd the herald, who was one of the first to be known in the lands of Hyboria. It was foretold that she would be the Architect of Dagda - the city of Eternal War.
- Tyrenia the Seneschal - whose steadfast hand guided these soldiers through the years of Phebie's wanderings.
- Veridicus the Preserver. A disciple of Mauggrider famed for his talents in protecting the raiders from harm, while laying grievous wounds upon their enemies.
- PilonJarak the Bold, whose daring tactics would oft dismay his enemies so, that they would throw down their weapons and flee before him.
- Allatar the Marshall, who sprang from the brow of Hyperion, Battlemaster of Vanus.
- Clarkrana the Summoner, a master of the craft of war who had progressed to a level beyond the 69th degree in his mystic art.
- Anwyr of the Aegis, also known as the Goad of Cimmeria. None could resist his challenge in battle and it was whispered amongst the Vanir that he could fell a score of men with a single stroke of his blade.
- Gimpylung the Sage, whose laughter could be heard clear across the din of battle, and was rumored to have a constitution hearty enough to challenge Conan himself in a drinking contest.
- Meode of the Rushing Blade, sometimes known as the Predator. None could withstand his charge, which would cleave the ranks of his enemies as easily as a blade cleaves naked flesh.
- Raukettgyrl the Chronicler, another disciple of Mauggrider. Whose ferocity in battle could inspire the troops, so that even the dead would take up their weapons once more and smite the enemy.
